Course Description

The 2024 Indiana laws and rules course for engineers will fulfill the Indiana laws & rules 1 pdh course requirement for state of Indiana professional engineers for the renewal period ending July 31, 2024. This course shall be taken between August 2022 and July 31, 2024. Each student will answer a short 7 question quiz at the end of the course. At least five answers must be answered correctly to pass the quiz. We are an Indiana approved organization. All of the courses on our site acceptable.

The Indiana laws & rules course helps keep the practicing engineer up to date on the legal documents that govern the practice of engineering in the State of Indiana. If you are a licensed professional engineer in the State of Indiana you are required to complete 1 professional development hour (PDH) of Indiana laws and rules and 1 PDH of ethics every two years. This course will fulfill the laws and rules portion only. We have a large selection of ethics courses to choose from also.

Learning Objective

The primary objective of this course is to familiarize the student with the laws and rules regulating the practice of engineering in the State of Indiana. Since this is the inaugural introduction of this course it will focus on the complete set of laws and rules that govern the practice of engineering. Students will learn about various code requirements as well as how the laws and rules address ethical issues in the practice of engineering.
